Make a Frame at Gifworks
~ Use a Bar or Line to Make a Frame at Gifworks ~

This tute assumes you have basic knowlege using Gifworks
There are many sites with bars and lines. Have you ever seen one that you'd love to use for a frame, but don't want to composite, rotate image, composite, etc. at IM? And you want a slightly different look than the original bar? Well then, take it to Gifworks!
1. Here is the bar I chose...
2. Under the Effects tab choose Cube...

Not very impressive, is it?

3. Again, under the Effects tab choose Kaleidescope, move the radio button to 8 facets then click Go.

4. Now, under the Edit tab choose SmartCrop. You can either Save (output) at this point, or re-size...I resize all my frames to 300x300.

Thanks to Aurora for sharing this way of creating our own frames at Gifworks in mslauralou's ng

Neither she nor I take any credit for discovering this effect. I know there are many people who will say, "I did!" or "Hey! That's mine!!". The truth is there are so many imagineers who play with different effects and things at the various image manipulators that I'm sure many people have stumbled onto this at one time or another.

Have fun! Experiment! Share what you've discovered!
